The Ministry of Justice handles state prosecution, manages prisons and rehabilitation programs and conducts the legal affairs of the Executive Yuan. It consists of the Departments of Legal Affairs, Prosecutorial Affairs, Corrections, and Rehabilitation and Social Protection; the Investigation Bureau; the Judges and Prosecutors Training Institute; prisons; custody centers; juvenile detention centers; juvenile reformatory houses; and vocational training institutions.
